Cats are the Best!
Many people don't know that cats are amazing. I think that when you have a cat they are the best animals in the world but some people don't realize that because the common legend that when you see a black cat you have bad luck for 8 years or a dog is mans best friend. Then again, some peeople just love dogs and had bad memory with cats or have never grown up with cats.
One time Shadow (my black cat) ran outside in the spring last year because the door was left open from Delaney or Ethan ( my annoying brothers) . My mom heard knocking on the door she opened it and there is the other black cat from across the street. So she thought she saw the black cat across the street but it was really Shadow. So Shadow stayed at the door till the morning and he had lost his collar so we didn't know it was him till we opened the door and he ran in and hid under my bed. When my dad came home he ran cold water and got Shadow and put him under the sink for 15 seconds and I said''Why are you doing thatdad?”. After that Shadow came running under my bed I pulled him out from under my bed. Then, I dried him off. Then, he ''prrrrred” all night on the end of my bed. My dad said,'' unless you want Shadow to run out all the time we do this as a punish ment!” Before I had a time to answer Shadow started to cry for me. When I went up stairs I wiped him down with a towel. After that I petted him till he didn't want to. After a while he followed me 13 times and when my dad looked at him Shadow ran and hide under my bed. Shadow came my room at 12:00 then he left at 2:00 and came back at 4:00. Ever since then he has been coming in my room and sleeping under my bed. One day when I went to bed Shadow came in and slept with me the whole night. After that I had a bad dream and Shadow noticed something was wrong he sprung onto my bed with me and laid right next to my face. When I woke up he was on my face and I felt I had a hair ball coming up because of all his fur. After 20 min later my bad dream stopped Because Shadow was there he felt like ten cats cuddling me so it made me forget every thing of the bad dream.
When I feel sad Shadow is there for me. One day I was playing with my brothers outside. We were having a great time till Delaney got mad at Ethan for saying that he was leader and it was still Delaneys turn. He said to Ethan,'' It is not your turn!”Ethan said,'' Yes it is, come on Cece lets play without Delaney!” Then they got in a huge fight and I tried to break it up but instead I got hit in the face. I ran in side as fast as a bee could fly. Shadow came running down the stairs and I ran up to my room and Shadow followed me. I plopped on to my bed and Shadow comforted me and fell asleep.
Whats your favorite animal? I realize that cats are the best animals in the world because they play a big part in your life by entertaining you, playing with you, sleeping with you, and you don't need to go
through all that trouble to train them. When you form such strong bond with them they will perotect you, defend your territory, and keep you safe. By. Cece C
